MYCP Annual Celebration Highlights Youth Accomplishments
Marathon, FL (172 words) - Monroe Youth Challenge Program’s mission is to
build Developmental Assets and create opportunities so every child in Monroe
County can feel safe, loved, and celebrated. The accomplishments of more
than 100 students involved with MYCP were celebrated in Marathon last week.
The climax of the evening was when Key West High School Senior Shey
Reager and Glenn Archer 4th Grader Neo Rahming came to the podium. They have
been together for four years through the MYCP Big and Littles project.

Monroe County Mayor George Neugent presented Noah Sutter of Tavernier
with the Congressional Award which is the highest award given by any United
States legislative body.
“The unique partnership we have with the school district is a model that
should be exemplified statewide – a relationship that allows parents,
community members and students to be actively involved in making their
school the school of their dreams,” MYCP Director Sunny Booker said.
